The Music Playce is North County’s newest music education hotspot. Located at
348 East Grand Ave. in what was Scotty’s Guitar Shop and previously
Rich Hunt’s Guitar Shop, the facility also has a retail space selling guitars, basses, amplifiers, keyboards, drums and assorted music accessories.
Private instruction is currently in progress and we are accepting new students at a rate of $100 per month with one 30 minute lesson per week. Check out the

Ensemble classes at various levels and genres are also in progress and accepting new students at an introductory rate of $80 per month with a 90 minute class once a week. Each class consists of 4-7 students.
Future classes will be offered for music theory, sight reading, functional piano, percussion, and beginning guitar. Classes will be offered for various age groups at a rate of approximately $50 for six 75-90 minute sessions. Seminars with professional performing artists will also be offered at various times.
